The following is provided for your edification. It is not to be construed as legal advice. It was not written by an attorney, but under the Texas Constitution by one 'learned in the law,' i.e. a former Texas Justice of the Peace. Going into any U.S. court, (which are all military in creation and nature, since 1861) without the proper knowledge of enacting your natural and constitutional rights, can place you in an embarrasing and costly situtation.
I do, however, recommend and advise you to LEARN the LAW, even if nothing more than keeping your attorney from allowing the courts to take advantage of you and your rights.
