It is very disappointing to hear the lastest story about electricity on Fox News on Xmas day. The utilities would like US to utilize their service so they can make profits.
It seems to ME if I can limit my exposure to price increases & put a cap on this expense it is not only better for my home but my business.
Of course their could be tax incentives for businesses & households to foster the growth of this industry. What's the budget for the CIA? Power will be in the control of the people not in the utility companies.
Who's in control anyway? Government is public servants doing the bidding of their masters, the public at large. When the government officials abuse the public trust they are fired & fined or in extreme cases it is called treason & sedition.
Similiarly the media works for the public b/c the media is granted, I repeat granted a license to operate over the public airwaves. If you do not inform the people the truth then you are abusing the people & are also putting your license in jeopardy.
In the year 2001 c.e. alternative energy resources are available. Hydrogen fuel cells for cars or homes, solar panels, wind/diesel generators, water mills are all available today. Many people want control & do have the power to do it.
Why do you not point out these methods of power generation?
Oil prices have spiked this year! Ethanol is available in this country & the conspiracy of the oil cartels, automotive industry & govt. will not allow this fuel to reach the stations. Why are you not pointing out his story? We could become more independent & a wealthier nation if the farmer was empowered. Let's keep our fuel dollars home where they belong. What about MTBE?
You will know your enemy by their actions or lack of action.
